Where the Wild Still Rules.

Cold rain fell relentlessly, soaking my camera, each drop a battle against clarity.

The air was still, the fjord eerily silent, broken only by the rhythmic patter of rain on water.
I knew orcas were near, their presence felt beneath the surface, but where they would break for breath remained a mystery.

Then, through the downpour, it happened. An orca surfaced, slicing through the silence with effortless power. Above, a lone bald eagle perched on a fallen tree, watching over the scene like a silent guardian.
Two apex predators, unaware of each other, yet bound by the wild they ruled.

A fleeting, impossible moment one I barely captured before it vanished into the rain.
